When an engine moves excessively in its mounts, energy is wasted. Factory mounts are designed with compliance built into them. This compliance reduces noise, vibration and harshness but allows the engine to waste valuable energy rocking back and forth. STILLEN’s Engine Damper converts this wasted motion into forward momentum. Unlike harder durometer replacement bushings which require an extended installation and transmit vibrations directly into the passenger compartment, our STILLEN Engine Damper is an isolastic mount that acts as a shock absorber and dampens unwanted motion. With no hydraulic parts to wear or fade in use, this is a long term solution that works in conjunction with the factory mounts to keep engine movement under control.
