Limited to 500 kits, this special edition kit, part number B2015CSTI is only available directly from the Braille Factory and celebrates the release of the new 2008 STi. It also celebrates Braille’s involvement in Subaru racing. Braille batteries have been used to win Rally America events, Redline Time Attack Modified and Street Class races, Grand Am, World Challenge and SCCA road and autocross events.

The “STi” edition Braille Battery features an exclusive “Braille Racing” logo on its genuine Carbon Fiber casing. The special edition B2015C battery also features exclusive black and white labeling on the top of this sealed no-maintenance battery. Included as a standard features on this model are dual terminal posts. The gold colored top posts feature stainless steel screws designed to perfectly fit the OEM Subaru Terminals, and the side mounts are for designed for aftermarket grounding kits and stereo connections.

The B2015C is rated at the same 425 Cold Cranking Amps as the OEM Subaru battery, but has over 20% more Hot Cranking Amps for those hot summer months. The Carbon Fiber casing also resists heat soak and shock from aggressive rallying or racing better than any battery on the market. This racing derived technology is needed for the high under hood temps of the turbo charged Subaru STi. The weight of the battery is just 50% of the stock battery. This weight loss allows better handling as the heavy stock battery is located on the driver’s side in the very front of the car, causing understeer!

The limited edition kit also includes a special black and pink aluminum mount kit. This kit is not available outside the kit and is designed specifically for the B2015C model and designed to install into the Subaru STi in under 5 minutes with simple cordless tools. Due to the design of the aluminum base this kit will also fit other Subaru models, including all Impreza models, Legacy and the Forester.

In addition this limited edition kit also includes a special “Braille STi” logo which is a vinyl decal that has the letters “STi” written in Braille type set to be placed below the factory STi badge on the trunk of the Impreza. This decal is available in black, white and of course, pink!
