The Pontiac Solstice upon its release has boasted impressive styling, highly respectable performance, and excellent control, all for an economical budget. This model was Pontiac’s first design of a two-seater roadster and with its formidable ingredients of a powerful front-mounted engine, rear-wheel drive, a fully independent suspension, 18 inch wheels and a near perfect weight distribution. This vehicle has certainly gained drivers’ attention. The Pontiac Solstice 2.0L Turbo adds to this repertoire of performance features by increasing acceleration and power, turning this economical compact into a top-down road-ripping machine.

Fidanza now offers a lightweight aluminum flywheel for the 2006-2008 Pontiac Solstice and 2007-2008 Saturn Sky roadsters. “Installing our aluminum flywheel delivers more horsepower to the wheels, thereby, increasing vehicle acceleration and allowing owners to really experience that wind-in-the-hair feeling,” said Bob Scheid, vice president, Fidanza. Made from high-quality machined 6061 T6 aluminum with a 1050 steel friction surface, the Solstice and Sky flywheel (part #199011) is finished with a heat-treated ring gear and military grade fasteners.  All fastener holes and chamfers on the product are CNC machined, and incredibly durable, allowing the use of just about any clutch disc material available - from organic to sintered iron. 

Centerforce ® is proud to introduce this Dual Friction clutch assembly for 2005 to 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS and Saturn Ion with the 2.0L Supercharged engine. This new clutch assembly replaces the stock clutch & flywheel assembly with higher holding capacity pressure plate and more than five pound lighter flywheel that is designed for a direct bolt in replacement. The Sky Roadster was inspired by the English Vauxhall and put Saturn in the international design category. It has a wide stance, short overhangs and 18-inch wheels which are pushed to the corners. Another popular roadster is the Pontiac Solstice which sports an extra tailpipe out back and a small spoiler on the rear deck.

K&N Engineering has released a High Flow Air Intake System (69-8432TS) in powder coated silver for the 2007 Saturn Sky 2.4 liter engine and the 2006, 2007 Pontiac Solstice 2.4 liter engine.

K&N dynamometer tests show a 5.41 horsepower gain @ 4700 RPM. The heat shield is designed to go between the oversized K&N High-Flow Conical Air Filter (RU-4990) and the front of the radiator. This isolates the filter from engine bay heat and keeps the air around it cooled.

KW suspensions announces their Variant 3 stainless steel constructed coil-over for the Saturn Sky (including Redline model) / Pontiac Solstice (including GXP model).

The KW coilover suspensions for the Saturn Sky / Pontiac Solstice enables the owner to lower their vehicle 25-50mm on the front axle and 25-50mm on the rear axle and retains enough travel to handle maximum load and dynamic loads during driving. Variant 3 permits an even higher degree of customization to the suspension. Adjustable (and independent reacting) rebound and compression damping allows a truly individual performance driving setup for those technically demanding drivers. Compression dampening adjustment is conducted in the low-speed range, while the high-speed set-up, so decisive for driving comfort, has been pre set by KW engineers.

Our NEW ’07 Saturn Aura Ground Effects package consists of a Front Air Dam with the “signature” Razzi-Splitter design, a set of matching Razzi integrated Side Skirts, and a complementary styled Rear Air Dam that accentuates the factory DUAL EXHAUST look.  Both the Front and the Rear Air Dams will attach directly to the existing factory front and rear bumper fascias so there is no altering the vehicle’s “crash/safety” standards as tested.  All Razzi parts are manufactured using Razzi’s AERO-FLEX® plastic which is a proprietary ABS co-extruded compound.  The Rear Air Dam is designed to accommodate the dual factory exhaust (Razzi will be releasing the “Simulated Exhaust Kit” for single exhaust Aura models in the near future).  Aura accessories will include two (2) Dual-Walled Stainless Steel Exhaust Tips that will fit right over the factory tailpipe tips and a Custom Rear Deck Wing Spoiler.

ST suspensions (formerly Suspension Techniques) announces their front and rear anti-sway bar set for the Pontiac Solstice.

The ST suspensions anti-sway bars for the Pontiac Solstice replaces the stock hollow type anti-sway bar with a solid construction anti-sway bar. Two holes of adjustments are provided to fine tune the rate of stiffness to your driving style. The original stock diameters (27mm front, 24mm rear) are retained.

Performance and comfort characteristics are taken into consideration with each ST suspensions anti-sway bar design. Incorporating 20 plus years of design experience, ST suspensions anti-sway bars are manufactured from cold formed solid steel and use swedged ends for their superior strength and reliability. All ST suspensions anti-sway bars include high grade mounting hardware, polyurethane bushings and are powder coated for a lasting finish.

The Saturn L Series was based on the European Opel Vectra, but modified for the U.S. market. The Catera was also produced from an Opel design and was intended as a different kind of Cadillac. It was made without a V8 engine.
