VENTURA, CA – GM’s LS engines have become the engine of choice for street rods, street machines and even the latest crop of high-end sand buggies. It’s no wonder – their aluminum construction makes them extremely light and they can produce huge power with a minimum of modification. In fact, a bit of boost is all your LS engine needs no matter what vehicle it’s in. Magna Charger offers a universal system capable of 700+HP. In fact engine guru Kenny Duttweiler has coaxed 740HP out of his 402ci LS2 with only 8 lbs of boost and a few of his traditional cam and cylinder head tweaks. The Magna Charger Universal MP122 kit for LS1 and LS2 engines fits virtually any application. Its low profile design slips under most hoods without modification, and the optional front or rear air supercharger inlet offers the car builder a choice of solutions for tightly packaged engine compartments.

Now you can give your ride the modern handling, traction, and adjustability it deserves with a new adjustable rear suspension system from Hotchkis Performance.
Available for 1964-72 GM A-Bodies and 1978-88 GM G-Bodies, the system is engineered to fit GM 10- and 12-bolt, Ford 9-inch and other rear end housings with stock location pick up points. The Florida based team with Patrick Carpentier and Ryan Dalziel behind the wheel finished fifth.

Incidents and yellow flags conspired against the Pontiac teams all race. What looked to be an encouraging start with the No. 99 GAINSCO Pontiac and No. 10 SunTrust Pontiac beginning the two-hour-and-thirty-minute race from the front row soon turned sour. The No. 10 car was shuffled back in the first corner and relegated to fourth. The No. 99 kept the lead up until the team’s mandatory 45-minute pit stop. Upon leaving the pits the No. 99, which was the fastest car on the time sheets all weekend, soon developed clutch problems, hampering the speed of drivers Fogarty and Gurney.

Chatsworth, CA: The key to getting any vehicle off the starting line or through the traffic lights is a well-matched, balanced torque converter. Whether you’re on the bottle, boosted or all-motor, your torque converter takes the shock and burden every time the vehicle is launched. B&M has designed a variety of torque converters to suite every driveline combination. The greatest known converter killers are nitrous equipped motors. The instantaneous horsepower generated by nitrous will cause ballooning of the cover and a shortened lifespan.

To remedy this, B&M designed the Nitrous HoleShot converter with anti-ballooning plates specifically intended to harness the horsepower of nitrous equipped engines. The Nitrous HoleShot also offers a furnace-brazed impeller, heavy-duty needle bearing between the stator and impeller, furnace brazed turbine and a precision steel alloy pump drive tube. Offered in 2400, 3000 and 3600 rpm stall speeds, the Nitrous HoleShot is THE heavy-duty converter for GM, Ford and Chrysler transmission.

B&M also offers their standard HoleShot converter for all-motor or mildly boosted applications. The standard HoleShot converter can be used in applications up to 450 lb-ft. of torque. Available in 2000, 2400, 3000 and 3600 rpm stall speeds, the HoleShot offers extreme performance at an affordable price.
