This new clutch & flywheel assembly replaces the current assembly with a higher holding capacity pressure plate, designed for a direct bolt in replacement and ceramic button style disc.

Nitto Tire U.S.A. and sponsored driver, John Urist, entered the 2010 NMRA drag racing season with four consecutive wins to their credit. Despite having the most wins in Super Street Outlaw class history, the team entered the season finale as an underdog, trailing first-place leader John Macdonald by 160 points. Through John’s good fortune, he ended the day victorious, making him the 2010 champion in one of the closest points races in class history. In commemoration of his victory, Urist will be awarded the coveted Nitto Champion Diamond Tree™ Ring. With this win Urist becomes the only driver in NMRA history to win five consecutive championships. This is his sixth career win.

The STOPFLEX® division of Classic Tube now has the ONLY COMPLETE disc brake conversion kit (#SFMU1000) for the early Mustangs. This revolutionary kit bolts to the stock V8 drum brake spindles and includes STOPFLEX® 4-piston lightweight aluminum calipers in red or black powder coat, clear zinc plated rotors, a dual-chamber red powder coated master cylinder and a 7-inch single diaphragm booster. The grooved rotors are 11.25-inches in diameter and are clear zinc wash plated for added rust resistance. The bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5-inches, while the mounting hardware kit includes brackets, splash shields, bearings, bolts sets, etc. The 4-piston calipers were chosen to provide maximum performance on street or strip.

The Steeda Q650 continues it’s promotional tour by making an appearance at the 16th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise.  Held annually in August, the Woodward Dream Cruise attracts millions of octane loving people in a mass celebration of performance vehicles all in the home town of the American Automobile – Detroit, Michigan.
