ATI Performance Products has developed a new steel insert for its Aluminum Clutch Drum for GM Powerglide transmissions. The new steel insert accepts the OEM bushing and will eliminate wear on the inside of the drum of its bushing surface and oil ring diameter to the stator support. These areas were being damaged by lack of lubrication with racers selecting neutral and shutting the engine down in excess of 8000 RPM at the end of the track. When the engine stops turning, the transmission pump does also and cuts off the oil flow to the transmission. The drum accelerates from stop to engine RPM on the first to second gear change. Clutch life is extended with the aluminum being 1/3 the weight of the steel drum and having less mass to accelerate on the gear change. The drum improves performance in competition, stock and super stock cars, especially when using a lower 1st gear ratio and is valuable in high HP cars that can leave the starting line at or below 4000 RPM on the brake by greatly increasing clutch life.

ATI is pleased to announce the release of our billet-machined, aluminum Vacuum Pump Pulley (PN 916199). This pulley was engineered for Chris Rini’s ATI sponsored, Sonny’s Hemi-powered Top Sportsman car. The extra wide, 20mm (3/4"), pulley solved the belt failure problem associated with the narrow 10MM-1/2” belt. The pulley is CNC machined with a 40 tooth HTD, 8mm pitch belt fully shaped to the proper contour. The center hole is machined for a 1/2” shaft with a three bolt mounting system. The Pulley fits Moroso vacuum pumps # 22640, 22641, 22642, and 22643

ATI Performance Products, Inc. is proud to introduce its new Super Streetmaster Torque Converter line for LS1-equipped vehicles. This 10-inch converter is available with lock up (Part # 708334) and without lock up (Part # 708335) for the LS1 4L60E and 4L65E transmissions. ATI has put the same technology into these Super Streetmaster converters as they do to all of their championship winning parts. ATI furnace brazes the pump and turbine, installs a new billet stator cap, springs and rollers in the sprag. A new hub, pilot and mounting ring have also been installed and CNC machined for perfect accuracy. ATI also adds new Torrington bearings throughout. Every available option has been taken to ensure your converter will handle anything you throw at it.

ATI Performance Products, Inc. is proud to introduce its renowned Super Damper (U.S. Patent #5,425,287) for the Honda H-Series engine for both street(918468) and racing(918469)applications.  Unlike undampened underdrive pulleys, which offer no protection to high performance engines, the ATI Super Damper provides balanced dampening of torsional crankshaft vibrations at all RPM. The ATI Super Damper comes with laser-etched timing marks and is a direct replacement for the stock OEM unit. The ATI H-Series Damper features a single serpentine belt drive on the outershell to utilize the factory serpentine belt set-up.  All ATI Super Dampers exceed SFI 18.1 Safety Certification and are approved for competition use.
