Cadillac’s SRX combines both elegance and utility with a powerful turbo charged V6. Some basic features of the Cadillac SRX include the, StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System, OnStar® and XM Satellite Radio capabilities. The SRX power train comes with a 3.0L V6, and a standard six speed automatic transmission with overdrive. K&N has recently released air filter part number 33-2444 for 2010 Cadillac SRX drivers with both the 3.0 liter and 2.8 liter engines. This performance air filter is designed to provide both engines with more power and torque while providing outstanding engine protection.  This nearly square panel style air filter has a step and ridge along the outer edges that were put in place to create a proper sealing surface when matched with the Cadillac SRX air box. Having a proper seal is a critical factor when keeping harmful contaminants from being ingested into the engine.

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO), in cooperation with General Motors (GM), debuted two new fitments on GMC and Cadillac concept vehicles at the 2010 North American International Auto Show, which started Jan. 11 in Detroit. The GMC Granite sports concept Dueler(tm) 245/40R20 tires. The Granite is a small, highly versatile, premium four-door crossover. The U.S. designed and produced Dueler tires feature a unique asymmetrical tread pattern that provides solid traction while also complimenting the vehicle’s ultramodern style. The Granite won the EyesOn Design Award for Best Concept Vehicle during the show’s opening media days.

Katech Performance has introduced a stainless steel short throw shifter for the 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V. “We’ve listened to our CTS-V customers who have demanded a shifter with no noise at an affordable price,” said Caleb Newman, vice president, director of aftermarket operations, Katech Performance.  “Our new shifter is a two-piece design that isolates noise away from the driver.”

On Sunday July 8th Ron Fellows will drive a Cadillac CTS-V in the sixth round of the SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT on the streets of Toronto, Ontario.

He is one of North America’s most versatile race car drivers. On June 16-17 Fellows piloted a Corvette C6R with K&N Engineering Products to a runner-up finish in the GT1 class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Cadillac CTS-V is equipped with a K&N Oil Filter (HP-1007).

Team Cadillac will start the second half of the 10-race series from a position of strength. It is leading the manufacturer’s championship by two points over Chevrolet, nine points over Porsche and 17 over Dodge.
