The 2008 Dodge Avenger looks similar to a three-quarter scale Charger. It is a twin mechanically to the Chrysler Sebring and shares its powertrain. K&N has developed a performance air intake kit (69-2543TTK) in black for the 2008 Dodge Avenger with a 3.5 liter V6 engine. K&N dynamometer tests show a 12.31 horsepower increase at 5493 RPM.

K&N Engineering has developed a performance air intake system (57-1550) that is street legal in 50 states for the 2006 and 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser with 2.4 liter non turbo engine. K&N dynamometer testing shows a 7.17 horsepower gain at 5004 rpm. The 57-1550 features a specially molded intake tube and a large K&N air filter. The air filter, RP-4660, fits into the stock location. Cooler outside air is directed toward the K&N air filter from the factory fresh air duct.

Chrysler’s Barracuda and Challenger have emerged as two of the most popular Chrysler vehicles of the early Seventies. Even the most generic versions are being restored and collected.
