CORSA Performance Exhausts, a TMG Performance Products company, has developed a premium performance exhaust system engineered specifically for the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO 3.5L EcoBoost V6. The new CORSA Taurus SHO cat-back exhaust system (part number 14315) features a dual rear-exit design with Single 4-inch Pro-Series tips.  The exhaust system - which bolts directly to stock flanges and also fits the 2010 Lincoln MKS equipped with the EcoBoost V6 engine - includes CORSA’s engineered XO-Style Crossover Pipe for improved flow and sound.

DC Co-Founder, Chief Brand Officer and Rally team driver, Ken Block, debuted his 2011 Ford Fiesta complete with a fresh new design and graphics this past weekend at the Sno* Drift Rally in Atlanta, MI. A collaborative effort between Ken and DC, the new car features an overall paint drip graphic that is an evolution from designs on Ken’s prior cars. For the finishing touches, Ken selected Huck Gee, known for his evil skull illustration and Kid Robot toy, to create a personalized KB logo treatment on the car including Huck’s signature skull re-done into a block shape for a play on Ken’s last name, and a # 43 plate on the side of the car.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the newest Victory Junction Gang Camp in Kansas City, KS, a year-round facility that serves children with chronic medical conditions and serious illnesses. In addition to taking home the highly-collectible pace car, Kyle and Pattie Petty, founders of Victory Junction Gang Camps, extended a special bonus to the winning bidder; an invitation to be their guests for a day for a tour of the Camp, an afternoon of hunting or fishing with Kyle and then join them for dinner at the Petty Farm.

Hurst Performance, a company responsible for some of the most iconic pace cars in history, and Woodhouse Auto Family of Blair, Nebraska, have once again partnered with Victory Junction. This time, the highly-collectible, 2010 BFGoodrich/Hurst Mustang convertible is set to pace the upcoming “Run to Victory Half Marathon and Five Mile Run/Walk” race presented by Wal-Mart. The race will benefit Victory Junction, a year-round camping facility that serves children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses. The Run to Victory Half Marathon and Five Mile Run/Walk will be one of the pace car’s last stops, as it makes its way to the upcoming Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz.  The car will be auctioned on January 23, with proceeds benefitting the newest Victory Junction Camp in Kansas City.

Ford’s FIA World Rally Championship runners-up, Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen, will drive the all-new Ford Fiesta S2000 rally car, in what will be its competitive debut, in the famous Monte Carlo Rally early next year. The Finns will use the five-day rally as a key part of their preparation for the 2010 WRC, which starts in February, while showcasing the exciting Fiesta S2000 rally car for the first time in competition.  The car has been developed by Ford’s rally partner, M-Sport, and made its first appearance as a safety car in November’s Rally of Scotland which, like the Monte Carlo Rally, is not part of the FIA World Rally Championship.

Ford Motor Company, as the final phase of its research into the cause and effects of distracted driving, is utilizing high-tech goggles that measure the amount of time drivers take their eyes off the road to help validate in-vehicle technologies such as GPS navigation systems. The special “occlusion” goggles are used in testing at Ford’s Human Machine Interface Verification Laboratory – or “Distraction Lab.” Ford engineers and technologists use the data to accelerate the safer design of telematics systems that keep drivers connected and informed.

The No. 5 Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary Edition Mustang, one of the most anticipated limited edition versions of the renowned Ford Mustang, sold for $352,000, the top price paid for a new car overall at the 2nd Annual Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas auction on October 9. At approximately 6:30pm PDT, the auction began with a personal video message from Lee Iacocca himself, with cheers from the crowd. As the Iacocca Mustang drove up onto the stage, it was rushed by fans and bidders.
