Andrew Bynum, star player of the Los Angeles Lakers, the reigning champions of the North American basketball league NBA, visited TECHART. With the size of 7.0 feet he is probably one of the tallest guests who have ever visited the TECHART headquarter in Leonberg so far. On a factory tour, the US-American had a look behind the scenes of TECHART. In the on-site saddlery, he had the chance to experience the creation process of handmade exclusive interior options like the TECHART sport steering wheels or tailor-made seats, from all-leather interiors to ornamental stitching – exclusively handcrafted on a world-wide unique level.

Every athlete is dreaming about it – a power boost at the push of a button. TECHART makes it possible. The TECHART power kit TA 070/T1 for the Porsche Panamera Turbo provides the sports car with an extra boost of power whenever the driver needs it. With a touch of the sport button, located at the center console of the car, the Panamera gets an extra performance of 80 hp – resulting in 580 hp of pure driving pleasure.

In a close cooperation with TECHART Automobildesign, Continental developed a performance tire, which is specially designed for sport driven use: the ContiForceContact. After more than two years of development, numerous rubber compounds, various construction designs as well as countless test drive kilometers with the TECHART GTStreet based on the Porsche 911 Turbo, the demands of TECHART and Continental on the common tire development project were fulfilled: a road-legal tire which can be driven with extraordinary steering precision, featuring well-defined limits and which allows the vehicle to perform to its full potential.

TECHART Automobildesign and brand ambassador Adrian Sutil extend their cooperation. The Formula One driver and TECHART act in concert since 2009 in the fields of vehicle development and the extension of various product components. Furthermore Adrian Sutil is available as a TECHART representative. “We are very pleased to extend the successful cooperation with one of the most popular racing drivers in Germany”, said Marc Herdtle, head of marketing at TECHART. As of now Adrian Sutil is driving off the track a TECHART-individualised Porsche 911 GT2.  “I am glad to continue the working relationship with TECHART. The unique TECHART Individualization options are fantastic. I will enjoy every single kilometre in my dream car”, said Sutil.

Followed by great interest the new generation of the Porsche Cayenne was presented at the Geneva Motor-Show a few weeks ago. Now TECHART offers its customers the chance to give the new Cayenne models a bit more of their own personality and character. The new TECHART Individualization options for the exterior, the engine area and the interior of the SUV as well as TECHART light alloy and forged wheels give the TECHART customers countless possibilities for individualization.

TECHART Automobildesign really set the sparks flying at this year`s trial of strength at the High Speed Event in Nardo/Italy. Test driver Sandro Reuter reached a top speed of 321,2 km/h, respectively 200 mph, with the TECHART refined Porsche Cayenne Turbo. TECHART thus secured a new speed record for Fullsize-SUVs. The circular 12.4 kilometer track is still considered to be the world´s fastest motor racing circuit, even ahead of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the United States.

The first time in the German automotive history a Porsche refiner met the challenge of a long-term test – and the TECHART Individualization Program for the Porsche Cayman S completed the test successfully.

Great honour for TECHART Automobildesign - the Individualization Program for the Porsche 911 GT2 was awarded AutoBild Sportscar of the year 2009. Thomas Behringer, Managing Director of TECHART, accepted the prestigious award with pleasure in the course of the AutoBild Race Night at the Essen Motor Show: „This award honours the complete team and it will be our motivation to confirm this success in 2010.”

TECHART is celebrating the world premiere of its individualization program for the Porsche Panamera models at the IAA 2009. The first phase of the TECHART program includes, among other things, exterior components for improved aerodynamics and a striking appearance that is typical of TECHART, 21 and 22 inch light metal wheels, a multifunctional daylight running light system, as well as extensive options finishing the interior.

With unmistakable styling, TECHART is presenting its tuning suite for the latest Porsche 911 Carrera 4S at the IAA International Motor Show. With Uwe Alzen and Adrian Sutil, TECHART is acquiring two new brand ambassadors. The two racing drivers will be at TECHART’s disposal in 2009 as representatives of the brand and also as test drivers. In this function, they will be supporting TECHART in the development of various components. “Both drivers have a wealth of knowledge from the motor racing scene. In this regard, thanks to his many years of experience in the touring car series and long-distance championships, Uwe Alzen is an expert who is in great demand,” says Thomas Behringer, Managing Director of TECHART Automobildesign GmbH, Leonberg, backing up this move.

Top times for TECHART at this year’s Tuner Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring race track. Behind the wheel of the TECHART GTstreet RS based on Porsche 911 GT2, racing driver Jörg Hardt left the competition with no chance and won the duel in the GT Turbo class. This meant that he was able to repeat last year’s victory. The sport auto Tuner Grand Prix is the world’s largest trial of strength in the tuning sector.

Unmistakeable design characterises the latest TECHART program for the 911 Porsche models from mod. 09, presented as a world premiere at the Geneva Auto-Salon 2009. Based on the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet 2009 model, the design highlights the aesthetics, sportiness and dynamics of the vehicle.
