Electric solenoid instantly shuts-off right front brake for improved corner entry handling and changing track conditions
Racers want every advantage possible. The new TCI® Electric Brake Shut-Off allows the driver to electrically shut-off the right front brake caliper to enhance corner entry handling in dirt, circle track racing applications. The easy-to-install solenoid mounts directly into the brake line, anywhere between the master cylinder and caliper. A flip of the switch from the inside of the car by the driver activates the lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum encased, continuous duty solenoid. This high-quality solenoid blocks fluid flow to the right front caliper, eliminating the common “push or tight” condition experienced under corner entry braking.

One of the sad facts in drag racing is that Powerglide transmission pans leak. Conventional transmission pan gaskets are prone to deform and leak if tightened just a hair too much; and even if a decent seal is achieved, you can count on lots of scraping and dealing with messy sealing compounds the next time you need to pull the pan for a fluid or filter change, which may be just a race or two away. As part of its PRO-X™ line of hardcore racing components, the new Powerglide O-Ring Transmission Pan from TCI® makes these and other transmission pan problems a thing of the past.

Unlike conventional harmonic balancers that merely dampen engine vibration, the Rattler® uses the TCI®-exclusive pendulum absorber technology, to absorb engine vibrations throughout the entire rpm operating range. And now this cutting edge technology is available for 1997 & Newer LS1, -2 & -6 powered Corvettes.
The Rattler® is SFI approved and legal for use with all drag race sanctioning bodies. Its bulletproof construction will stand up to even the highest horsepower Gen III Corvette engine while still being lighter in weight than dimensionally similar conventional balancers.

Automatic transmissions are complex components, mysterious boxes filled with fluid and strange-looking parts that challenge even an accomplished engine builder. Many racers and street performance enthusiasts incorrectly install their transmission with the critical T.V. cable used to set internal line pressure and part throttle shifting either left disconnected or improperly adjusted. The result – total transmission melt down often within a matter of a few miles. The TCI® 700R4 Constant Pressure Valve avoids all those problems.
In the past, the T.V. cable adjustment on GM 700R4 transmissions required near-expert mechanical abilities. Installation of the TCI® 700R4 Constant Pressure Valve Body avoids common transmission destruction by maintaining at least 200psi line pressure at all times. While the T.V. cable still needs connection for proper transmission operation, the TCI® 700R4 Constant Pressure Valve provides more freedom when setting part throttle shift points. Line pressure is fixed with no chance of encountering a low line pressure condition.

New TCI® valve body allows for total shifting control, ideal for rock crawling, off road and street/strip vehicles. Making the right shift at the right time is critical to getting the most performance from your transmission. The new TCI® TH400 Full Manual Shift Valve Body with Low Gear Engine Braking is the best way to deliver quick shift response times and clean neutral shifting. Best of all, the full engine braking in low gear is perfect for rock crawling and 4x4 applications where utilizing the engine’s compression drag to help traverse the most extreme terrains is a useful feature.

Two of the newest products from the drivetrain engineers at TCI® are a pair of 10-inch diameter high performance torque converters that bolt right in to any 2005-2007 Ford Mustang (5R55 transmission). Featuring an increased stall speed (3500 and 3800 rpm respectively) and TCI®-designed high performance internal components, ‘05-’07 Mustang owners can expect as much as a half second improvement in their quarter mile times with no loss in daily street drivability.
The street-compatible, full lock-up torque converters feature all the high-tech engineering you would expect from TCI®. Both torque converters include a hand-built steel stator, heavy-duty clutches, furnace-brazed turbine fins, a modified impellor fin angle and INA thrust bearings for lowered internal friction. All this equates to a durable torque converter that will deliver lower operating temperatures and the ultimate in performance.
