Unlike your old disposable filter, K&N’s 33-2920 uses a unique pleated design with oiled cotton fabric layers sandwiched between two layers of epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens. The filter captures airborne dirt particles while allowing virtually unrestricted air flow into the engine. These dirt particles cling to the outside of the filter and become part of the filtering media.
