Steeda has designed and engineered a new 13” rear disc brake kit for S197 Mustangs and new GT500. The new kit has been developed utilizing the knowledge gained from Steeda’s vast competition experience dating back to IMSA racing with 1993 and 95 Cobra R’s. The new, Made in America Steeda brake kit, is the lightest of its kind on the market resulting in less unsprung weight and rotating mass. The wider, larger diameter vented rotors provide better cooling and are slotted to disperse heat and gas buildup reducing brake fade. The brackets are manufactured from aircraft grade aluminum for greater strength and lighter weight. When combined with Steeda’s 14” front disc brake kit, the 13” rear brakes provide optimum braking under all conditions.

Steeda’s new competition upper 3rd link for S197 Mustangs is the ultimate piece for the performance Mustang enthusiast. This competition upper 3rd link, like the original version allows you to adjust your pinion angle. This piece is a double adjustable design allowing you to make adjustments on the car, eliminating the need to remove it from the vehicle for adjustment. Torque deflection associated with the factory piece is eliminated. Competition proven chrome moly alloy rod end eliminates all axle wind up and wheel hop while allowing for proper articulation with no deflection for excellent handling and cornering stability. Also included is a heavy duty replacement chassis mount that is a direct replacement for the factory mount. Made from stout 1/4” thick steel, this piece is twice as thick and much stronger than the factory piece. It features 2 mounting locations for increased suspension adjustment to provide the ultimate in traction and handling.

Available with the Steeda Hardcore® logo, Steeda’s Tall Valve covers for 5.0L & 5.8L small block Fords Have plenty of room for Stud-mounted Rocker Arms and valvetrain guides. These require a 1” spacer between the upper and lower intake to fit on EFI 5.0L’s. No spacer is required for carb applications. A small spacer or no spacer may be required for 351/5.8L Windsor’s. Valve covers come polished with the Steeda Hardcore® logo on them. There is no breather holes on these, just a prevision on the bottom side for you to drill out a hole. It also has bolt on splash guards for the under side, to prevent oil from getting to the breather. These are a great piece for your showcar or racecar.
