“We’ve put together a complete package with custom fabricated parts available nowhere else that will allow Camaro, Trans Am or Firebird owners to not only run 10s, but do it safely and consistently,” said Caleb Newman, vice president, director aftermarket operations, Katech Performance.  “Best of all, the vehicle is a daily driver.  You can fill-up with premium fuel, take it for a cruise with the air conditioner on and not worry about overheating.  It’s a 10-second street car that’s ready for track day.”

The Camaro/Trans Am/Firebird package starts with a Katech “Street Attack” LS7 engine featuring Katech forged pistons, rebushed connecting rods, upgraded camshaft, enhanced valvesprings, ultra-light retainers and ported cylinder heads.  Other modifications include Katech powdercoated valve covers and a coil relocation kit.
