The second-generation front-wheel-drive Acura TSX was introduced for the 2009 model year and carried over to 2010. This entry-level luxury sedan is much sportier than your typical four-door family car. Features such as leather upholstery, 17 inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control and seven speaker audio system with integrated iPod and satellite radio options, really put the new Acura TSX in a class of its own. The Ford Fiesta is one of Europe’s top-selling small cars. The current generation Fiesta was completely redesigned in 2008 and has received much praise. Ford spent considerable time developing the new Fiesta, as it is part of Ford’s global strategy to once again become profitable. Ford plans to introduce the Fiesta to additional markets, including Asia, Australia and North America. The Fiesta is slotted to arrive in the U.S.A by early 2010 as a 2011 model.

The 2008 Dodge Viper defines brute power. Equipped with an 8.4-liter, 10-cylinder engine, the 2008 Dodge Viper is capable of producing over 600 horsepower. The Viper is often considered primitive when compared to ultra-luxurious supercars from Europe. However, what the Viper lacks in plush trim and options, it makes up for with its track credentials. The 2008 Viper is reported to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds, cover the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds, and reach top speeds of around 200 mph. Combine that level of sheer power with the ability to precisely maneuver through turns, stop from 60-0 mph in around 100 feet, and the 2008 Viper will leave a venomous taste in mouths of European supercar owners.

The Suzuki SX4 is often described as a cross over mix of a 4X4 sport utility vehicle and a super-mini. It was originally intended for the European market, but the SX4 is now sold in Japan, South America, Australia, South Africa and North America. While the Porsche 911 has seen many changes throughout the years, one thing remains the same. A Porsche 911 has always retained the celebrated and distinguished bodylines first introduced in 1963 by Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche, and Erwin Komenda. The drive train theory for the Porsche 911 also remained the same for roughly 35 years. With its air-cooled rear engine six-cylinder power plant the 911 has been a favorite among racing teams, and is often credited as one of the most successful competition cars ever produced.

The 2009 Genesis is Hyundai’s first full size rear-wheel drive luxury car.  Its V8 engine has dual intake runners and variable timing on 32 valves.  The South Korean automaker reports the Genesis can use both premium and regular fuel. K&N has released a replacement air filter (33-2426) for the 2009 Hyundai Genesis with a 4.0 liter V8 engine. This washable, reusable panel K&N air filter was designed as a simple performance addition that also provides outstanding filtration. The 2009 Honda Fit was completely redesigned for 2009. It is a bit longer and wider than the 2008 model and has added interior space, sharper handling, enhanced seating functionality, and a more powerful engine. K&N has designed a performance air intake system (69-1017TTK) in black for the 2009 Honda Fit with a 1.5 liter engine that is guaranteed to increase power.  K&N dynamometer tests show the 1.8 liter engine gained 4.53 horsepower at 6000 RPMs with this air intake kit.
