This past weekend, the Circuit de la Sarthe played host to the 77th running of the 24 Hours at Le Mans where, for the second straight year, the #82 Risi Competizione GT2 Ferrari, equipped with Endless brake pads, finished first in class. On the third step of the podium was the #83 Krohn Racing/Risi Competizione GT2 Ferrari, also equipped with Endless brake pads. The team’s strong and flawless performance allowed the #82 to take the GT2 lead in the sixth hour, while the #83 consistently climbed its way through the field to garner third by the time the checkered flag dropped.

Endless equipped teams across the globe showed their dominance this past weekend of May 23rd and 24th. From World Rally Challenge to the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix to the Nurburgring 24 Hours, all teams clenching victory used Endless as an integral part of their brake package. Italy was next on the WRC schedule and Ford occupied both the 1st and 2nd place steps on the podium. Risi Competizione’s car #82 took 1st place in the GT2 class at the famous 24 Hour At Le Mans with Endless brake pads at the heart of its brake package. The long and arduous race was an exciting and eventful one, with periods of perilous fog and even rain. Nevertheless, Risi Competizione’s car #82 maintained the lead throughout and finished the race strong to clench the victory.
Endless and Risi Competizione had been doing testing and development of the sintered compound called YS455 here in the US before the team headed to France for Le Mans. “The YS455 is a sintered compound developed for long endurance races and is used for specific Super Taikyu circuits with our own cars,” said Dominic Chen, Executive Director of Endless USA.

With the release of Zeal Function coilover systems for the R35 GTR, Endless completes their full product offering for the new R35 GT-R. Joining the already available Mono-6 front and rear brake systems for the GT-R are the Function-A and Function-T coilovers.
