Thonotosassa, FL - Factory 2005/06 Mustang suspension is adequate for cruising the highway, but for maximum quarter mile performance, stock hardware isn’t going to cut it. The experts at BMR Fabrication have taken Mustang control arm design to a new level, integrating track-tested geometry with new construction techniques to create the ultimate S197 Mustang control arm.

Ford’s stock control arm mount is exceptionally narrow, forcing other designs to use a thin bushing hat that can split under heavy loads. By utilizing 1.5” x 2.0” boxed steel tubing with an oversize poly bushing, BMR’s new Control Arms can handle launch after launch. Boxed tubing is narrower yet stronger than round tube designs, allowing BMR to use a thicker bushing hat to cushion torsional load. Bushing diameter has been increased from 1-5/8” to 1-3/4”, and sleeve thickness has been upgraded from .095” to .156” for maximum protection. TIG welding drastically improves strength and cosmetics. An OE-style rear offset bushing keeps the bushings from binding and maintains proper geometry. The result is more consistent launches, every time you hit the strip.

Thonotosassa, FL - The 2005-06 Mustang has taken the performance world by storm, thanks to stellar good looks and respectable performance. Like all factory hot rods, there is room for improvement. Now you can get a hunkered-down stance, reduced body roll, and improved grip with the new 2005/06 Mustang Lowering Springs from BMR.

Whether you drive on the street, strip, or road course, your Mustang can benefit from the improved driving dynamics of BMR drop springs. Thanks to track-tested progressive spring rates and a lowered center of gravity, BMR drop springs increase a vehicle’s cornering capabilities dramatically. BMR springs are available in two variations. Part number SP009 will lower the front 1.25” and the rear 1.75”, while part number SP010 lowers the front 1.5” and the rear 2”. Both kits are designed to “level” the car. BMR rear springs retain the factory “hourglass” shape designed by Ford engineers. This important feature provides a “variable natural frequency” in the spring to help counteract damaging wheelhop. This is a feature of the OE springs often overlooked by other “road race” oriented companies simply because they don’t realize it’s benefits in multi-purpose applications. Like all BMR suspension parts, BMR Springs are made in the USA out of top-quality materials, and are powdercoated for maximum protection and
style.

Thonotosassa, FL: The new SN197 Mustang is arguably the most popular high-performance car to roll out of Detroit in decades. It has become a deadly competitor on both the street and strip, and BMR Fabrication has engineered a complete line of parts to help your Mustang launch, handle and perform safely. As a compliment to their line of performance engineered upper control arms, they now offer a new Extreme Duty Upper Control Arm Mount for 2005-06 Ford Mustangs.

The rugged mount is a direct replacement for the factory piece, and installs without any drilling, welding or other modifications. The new S197 Mustang Upper Control Arm Mount (part number UCM001) is laser cut from 1/4-inch plate steel and features multiple control arm mounting holes for “on car” adjustment to gain instant center. The key to the BMR Fabrication Control Arm Mount is that it provides additional strength at critical suspension points, virtually eliminating the possibility of structural failure under heavy use.
